Hiking & Fun La Pedriza “La Charca Verde” – Sunday, June 1

La Pedriza is our next hiking destination, an area of great geological and scenic interest and one of the most emblematic routes in Madrid for its incredible granite rock formations. We will follow the path created by the Manzanares River and enjoy the sound of water until the end of the trail with spectacular views of the Sierra de Guadarrama Natural Park. We will arrive to the famous Charca Verde (the Green Pound), which owes its name to the effect produced by the color of the rocks at its bottom along with the reflections in its waters, which gives it its characteristic emerald green color.

A medium level route of about 14.5 km, suitable for all audiences with good physical condition, in one of the most beautiful natural sites of the mountain, with a drop of 200m🏔.🥾

Halfway through the tour we will have a picnic to rest, eat and enjoy the area and begin our return.
